Positive survey response lands MD in improvement quandary!

Customers of specialist business-to-business marketing services provider Protean Marketing Communications have praised the company’s strategic and tactical knowledge, creative capabilities and high value approach in a specially-commissioned survey.

Carried out as part of an ongoing continuous improvement program, the survey was designed to test clients’ perceptions of the Berkshire-based organisation’s skills and competencies, cost structure and working processes.

Every single respondent to the survey, which was issued to key contacts within each company that Protean has worked with over the last two years, stated that Protean offers highly effective marketing support. 100% of the sample also agreed or strongly agreed that the company employs an innovative and creative approach to marketing solutions, and that Protean’s staff are skilled within their roles.

On the pricing side, 9 out of 10 respondents agreed or strongly agreed that the company adds significant value to marketing campaigns, and that value for money is better than average.

“These results show that we are offering what our clients want – an extremely imaginative and valuable service delivered by talented and knowledgeable individuals,” says Protean’s Managing Director Greg Robinson.

Similar results were seen elsewhere in the survey, where Protean’s working knowledge of marketing strategy & tactics and commitment & dedication to clients were also heavily commended.

“It is very important to us to keep track of exactly how our customers are finding doing business with us,” comments Robinson. “The feedback we have received has been extremely positive across the board – perhaps overwhelmingly so, and certainly more than we expected.”

Indeed, the acquiescent nature of the feedback has left the company in something of an unusual and enviable quandary, as Robinson explains: “The survey was commissioned to identify areas in which we can enhance and develop our service, but it will be difficult to improve upon these results. However, we are currently establishing a continuous improvement policy within the company and, as a result of the comments we have received, some of our services will shortly be launched as defined and clearly packaged products.”
