Protean awarded Marantz Business Electronics marketing contract
Protean Marketing has confirmed its appointment by Marantz Business Electronics, worldwide specialists in Automated Optical Inspection (AOI) of Printed Circuit Boards. Under the terms of the new business partnership, Protean will assume responsibility for building the Marantz Business Electronics brand, as it gains increasing recognition across international markets.
Perhaps more commonly associated with high quality audio and video products, Marantz developed its first AOI system in 1994 for internal use. Having proven to be highly successful in inspecting PCB assemblies for correct component placement and soldering, the system was soon launched commercially – and Marantz Business Electronics was born. Today, the company is an industry leader with over 3,500 systems in use around the world.
